So here’s the question , with the new law about to be signed allowing “undocumented immigrants” Connecticut driver’s licenses, wouldn’t they now become somewhat documented? A driver’s license is one of the major documents used for identification purposes for traveling, cashing checks, buying cough surup,registering to vote, etc. In a state like Connecticut having a driver’s license and going through the process is about as documented as it gets. Do you think anyone here illegally is going to bother getting a license, buying insurance and registering a vehicle? Why are they going to do it ? Are there other advantages we are not recognizing ? Maybe there is more to this story than what we see on the surface? And why have other states that have passed this legislation, attempting to repeal it? Hmm….
