Texans Sign UConn’s Williams, Their 4th Round Draft Pick

The Houston Chronicle is reporting that the NFL Houston Texans have signed UConn defensive end Trevardo Williams.  Williams,  who was the Texan’s fourth-round selection,  was signed to a four-year deal worth more than $2.5 million.

A graduate of Bridgeport Central High School,  Williams led the Big East with  11 sacks last season,  and finished his college career as UConn’s all-time sacks leader.  He was an All-Big East First Team Selection.
