Armed Robbery At Clinton Radio Shack Nets Cash, iPhones

Police in Clinton are investigating an armed robbery in which cash and iPhones were stolen from a Radio Shack in town.

Detectives say suspects entered the store on East Main Street around 8:30 Tuesday night, implying they had weapons.

The employees were tied with duct tape as the robbers made off with about $300 cash and an undetermined number of iPhones.

The suspects took off in a dark colored PT Cruiser.  The employees were able to free themselves once the robbers fled.

No injuries have been reported.

Anyone who has information or may has seen the crime is being asked to get in touch with the Clinton Police Department.
