Driver Killed In Simsbury Accident

One person died overnight in a single-vehicle accident on Owens Brook Boulevard in Simsbury.

Police say they received several 911 calls at about 12:42 a.m.,   to the scene near Horseshoe Circle. They found a Ford Explorer resting on its roof.  The 22-year-old driver had been ejected from the vehicle and later was pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital.  His 23-year-old passenger, who was wearing a seat belt,  suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Simsbury police are continuing to investigate the accident.
