Bridgeport police are continuing their investigation into a hit and run accident last week that left a two-year-old boy with serious injuries.

They have issued a flier requesting help in locating the driver that struck Corey Gordon shortly after nine p.m. on April 30 in the 600 block of Capitol Avenue.

Corey was holding his mother’s hand as she was tending to his sibling in their vehicle when the accident occurred.

His condition has since been upgraded from critical to serious.

Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed the accident and may have a description of the vehicle to contact them at 203-576-8126.

Tips can also be texted to 274637 with the code TIP717 and then the message.
