Connecticut Plot Offered to Slain Boston Bomber

(WTIC News, Hartford) A possible resting place right here in Connecticut for Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev….

Yale Divinity School grad Paul Douglas Keane wrote on his blog, The Anti-Yale, that he would offer a burial plot to slain Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.  The plot, owned by Keane, is located at Mt. Carmel Burying Ground in Hamden.

The 68 year old retired school teacher is currently living in Vermont, and said he already has a plot in Vermont picked out.  As such, he does not have a use for the two vacant lots next to his mother and father in Hamden.

Keane said he will offer this plot for Tsarnaev on one condition, that the donation be made in memory of his mother, a Sunday School teacher at Mt. Carmel Congregational Church, who taught him to “love thine enemy.”

A Worcester funeral director has been unsuccessful thus far in finding a plot for Tsarnaev’s body.  Keane also wrote that if they take him up on his offer, because he owns the plot, no one can refuse him access to use it as he wishes.
