Community Foundation Delays Hearing On Distribution of Money For Sandy Hook Families

The Newtown-Sandy Hook Community Foundation,  is delaying public hearings on distributing money donated for those affected by the Sandy Hook School shootings.

The hearings had been scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week,  but the Board of Directors of the fund decided to wait for a meeting with the Attorney General’s office to review the process.

The Board says it will re-schedule the hearings after the meeting.

The Newtown-Sandy Hook Community Foundation was formed to oversee distribution of money collected by the Sandy Hook School Support Fund.
