Marijuana Grow Operation Raided

A lengthy  investigation has resulted in the arrest Thompson man  on narcotics charges.State Police executed a search and seizure warrant at 20  Leo  Circle in Thompson Tuesday and found  the homeowner, 43 year old Bernard Chausse was  cultivating and selling  high grade marijuana.

During the search of a detached  garage,investigators  located a hidden retractable door leading to  the second  floor where a temperature and  oxygen controlled grow  room was  found.Inside   25  high grade  marijuana plants were discovered.The search also revealed 3.5  pounds of marijuana packaged for sale, two firearms, scales and  packaging equipment.

The grow operation consisted of  various high capacity lights, ballasts and  a watering and ventilation system.

Nearly 35 hundred dollars in cash,a 2004 Dodge Ram Pick-up truck and two Harley Davidson motorcycles were seized.

Chausse was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell,Cultivation of Marijuana,Possession of Marijuana Over  One Kilogram and  Operating a Drug Factory.Bond was set at 75 thousand dollars.Chausse is due in court Wednesday.
