Woman Pleads Guilty In College Threat

The woman authorities say was behind threats made to New Haven’s Gateway Community College has copped a plea.  19-year-old Amanda Bowden made a series of threats via text with a cooperating witness and an undercover law enforcement agent between February 4 and 16 of this year.

She was arrested February 19.  Bowden has pleaded guilty to one count of false information and hoaxes.  She faces up to 5 years in prison and a quarter million dollars in fines when sentenced July 13th.
