Malloy Asks Moment Of Silence At 2:50 Today
Governor Malloy is asking Connecticut residents to join in a moment of silence at 2:50 this afternoon, to recognize the victims of the bombing at the Boston Marathon a week ago.
The governor says he told state agencies to join Massachusetts in the moment of silence, and encouraged residents to do the same. He says he and Lieutenant
Governor Nancy Wyman will observe the moment of silence at Minuteman Park, in front of the State Armory.
The governor says it’s an opportunity to remember the victims and to thank law enforcement and first responders.
