Double Shooting in Bridgeport

A double shooting in Bridgeport early Sunday morning has left one man in critical condition the other win non life threatening injuries.

Police were called to Bridgeport Hospital abut 2:30am after  the  victims arrived in a private car 44 year old Mack Green of Bridgeport, the driver suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh. His passenger 42 year old   Rodney Spann, also of Bridgeport was shot in the neck and chest.

The men had been at Club Delight on Barnum Avenue and several fights broke out  involving Spann’s son-in-law.Spann tried to intervene. After leaving he club a man walked up the  the victims vehicle  reached in and fired multiple shots.

The investigation is ongoing.
