Stamford Man Identified As Body Found On Beach

STRATFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Stratford police say a man found dead on a local beach last month was a 30-year-old Stamford resident.

Police identified the man on Monday as Fabian Toledo, whose body was found on the beach in the Lordship neighborhood on March 28.

The Connecticut Post reports  that an autopsy was inconclusive and authorities are waiting for the results of toxicology and other tests.

Police say there were no signs of trauma or foul play, and it’s not clear when Toledo died.

State court records show Toledo had several pending criminal cases on charges including engaging police in a pursuit, interfering with police, driving under the influence and failing to appear in court.
