South Windsor Man Charged With High School Desecration

Police in South Windsor have made an arrest in connection with damage to the high school last week.

They say 29-year-old Jason Rivera is charged.

Last Thursday, police say Rivera allegedly spray painted messages on the walls of South Windsor High School with a hateful tone.

He’s being charged with desecration of property and criminial mischief.

Police say they obtained an admission from Rivera Monday.

Rivera is being held on $100,000 bond and is due in court in Manchester on Wednesday.
