School employees, first responders and other workers suffering emotional trauma as a result of their presence at the site of the Sandy Hook School shooting in  December can begin applying for money for mental health expenses from a special assistance fund.

At the direction of the General Assembly,  the Office of Victim Services is established the “Sandy Hook Workers Assistance Program,”  funded by private donations.  Applications can be made now through the end of June, 2014. (Click here for the Judicial Branch website.)
