Glastonbury Police Name Suspect In Rolex Heist
Glastonbury police believe they have the suspect who made off with a Rolex watch from a local jewelry store last fall.
They say 28-year-old Charles Moye entered the Lux, Bond and Green in town last November 14 and asked to see the 30-thousand-dollar watch.
Agent James Kennedy with the Glastonbury Police Department says Moye snatched the watch and took off.
Kennedy says two weeks later, Moye apparently struck again.
He says on November 27, Moye was allegedly caught stealing nearly $1,900 worth of hats from a Lord and Taylor in Pallisades Mall in New York.
Kennedy says Moye is wanted for other similar crimes in New Canaan and in New Jersey. Moye will be charged with larceny in the Glastonbury case once he is extradited back to Connecticut.
