A Worcester man is appearing in court in Rockville today, to face charges in the highway crash deaths of two people.
State Police Lieutenant Paul Vance says the accident took place in Union.
“This is a crash that resulted in the death of two individuals,” Vance said. “This crash occured on I-84 Westbound just before 3:30 in the morning on April 7, 2012.”
Theophilus Asare is charged with manslaughter and driving under the influence in the 1-car crash. He turned himself in to state police yesterday.
The 27-year-old is also accused of tampering with evidence and making a false statement.
Thirty-one year-old Willis Nanka-Bruce and 19-year-ld Chaveli Baker were killed in the crash. They are both from Worcester.
