Parents Arrested After Drinking At Plainville House Party

A young woman’s eighteenth birthday party got out-of-hand in Plainville.  The teenager’s parents got arrested.

Plainville Police Lieutenant Eric Peterson says officers found two underage party-goers vomiting outside the Bruce Avenue home, and investigators determined that many other juveniles had also consumed alcohol.

“In this particular case we were able to determine that the parents were there for some time during the evening, and allowed the drinking to occur,” Peterson said.

Police say some of the young partiers brought the booze.

Parents Kassi and Anthony Diorio were charged with risk of injury to a minor, and permitting a minor to illegally posess liquor.

“You allow your child to have a party and friends come over, and alcohol is brought to the home, and juveniles have been consuming alcohol and they are begining to vomit [parents] should call the police right away,” Peterson said.
