Guilty Verdict In Teen’s Shooting

A Hartford man already serving a nine-year sentence in an unrelated crime has been convicted of being an accessory to murder and other charges the 2006 drive-by shooting which killed a 15-year-old bystander and wounded his 14-year-old friend.

The Chief State’s Attorney’s office says the arrest and conviction of 28-year-old Paul Davis in the 2006 shooting death of Kerry Foster in the drive-by on Clark Street in Hartford.  Following the verdict, Judge Julia Dewey scheduled sentencing for May 9.
Ackeem Riley, who was 16 when the shooting took place,  was arrested along with Davis.  Charges against him are pending at Hartford Superior Court.
