Two dogs attacked a greyhound being walked in Clinton on Monday morning.
Clinton Animal Control says the woman heard a growl, near Pleasant Valley Road and Carter Hill Road, and her dog was attacked by a brown Pit Pull wearing read around its neck, either a large collar or a bandana. the other dog was a smaller mixed breed with short black fur.
The greyhound was badly injured, and vet bills have been more than $2,000 so far, according to Clinton Police Sergeant Jeremiah Dunn.
