Shelton Police Looking Into Infant Death

On March 11, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Shelton Police received a 911 call from a mother who stated that her two-month-old son was not breathing. Shelton Police and EMS immediately responded to the downtown Howe Avenue residence. The infant was taken to the hospital where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.

The scene was secured by police and the detective bureau responded to the scene to investigate the child’s death. The incident is still under investigation by detectives with assistance by the State Medical Examiner’s Office and the Department of Children and Families.
