Three Arrested In Two Drug Busts

The East Central Narcotics Task Force arrested three people in a pair of drug busts Wednesday.

In South Windsor, police busted Sharif Islam, 20, of East Hartford, trying to sell cocaine at te Mill pond Apartment Complex on Ellington road. Cocaine was seized (3.1 grams) as was a 2000 Honda Accord.

He’s charged with possession of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to sell, bond set at $250,000.

In Glastonbury, police seized 60 bags of heroin and a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer during a heroin bust. Arrested were Angel Colon-Carrasquillo, 46, and Jaminette Ramos, 33, both of Hartford, on possession and sale of heroin charges. Ramos had bond set at $10,000 and Colon-Carrasquillo had bond set at $250,000.
