300 Police Calls In Morning Commute

The morning snow caused commuting problems around Connecticut.  State Police say they received about 300 calls for help,  including a ten-vehicle accident which closed Interstate 84  between exits 68 and 69. Minor injuries were reported.
Many of the accidents were spin-outs.

With more snow expected Thursday evening into Friday morning, police asked drivers to reduce their speeds and to increase the distance between vehicles.  They called for extra care driving on overpasses and secondary roads,  which could be slippery.
