Hebron Schools Lacked Financial Control Under Cruz

A study into the tenure of Eleanor Cruz when she was Superintendent of Schools for 7 1/2 years in Hebron shows that the school system lacked financial controls and there were weaknesses in business practices and procedures.

The study is being done by Ed Arum of Arum and Associates LLC, reports the Hartford Courant.

Cruz is being investigated by state police for $15,000 in questionable credit card expenditures and other expenses while in that role.

She’s currently on paid administrative leave from her job as Plymouth School Superintendent.
