The University of Connecticut and Brigham Young University have announced plans for a home-and-home series in football for the 2014 and 2015 seasons. The Huskies and the Cougars will play Aug. 28, 2014, at Rentschler Field, then Oct. 31, 2015 at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah.
Brigham Young, which has a record of 74 wins and 29 losses since 2005 under the current head coach, Bronco Mendenhall, ranks twelfth nationally in total victories. The school, one of only four independents in the country, began playing intercollegiate football in 1922.

2013: August 29, Towson; September 14, Maryland; September 21, Michigan; September 28, at Buffalo.
2014: August 28, BYU; September 6, Stony Brook.
2015: September 5, Villanova; September 26, Tennessee; October 31, at BYU.
2106: September 3, at Tennessee; September 17, Virginia.
2017: September 16, at Virginia.
