Synthetic Marijuana Seized In Traffic Stop

State Police say they found 21 pounds of synthetic marijuana during a traffic stop in Brooklyn over the weekend.

Police say the drug was packaged in 1,100 individual bags for bulk sale.  The estimated street value is put at $16,000.

The driver of the minivan stopped shortly before 3:00 p.m.,  at Route 6  and Day Street,  55-year-old Vipin Patel of Jewett City  faces charges of possession of narcotics and possession with intent to sell.
