University of Connecticut’s Board of Trustees Wednesday approved an additional fee increase of $116 for next year, bringing the total percent increase compared to this academic year to 4.4 percent for in-state students.

On-campus Connecticut students will pay $23, 496 next year.

The added fees are to account for rising cost of technology and other services. A room and board increase had already been approved.
