Some flooding has been reported in low-lying areas along the Connecticut shoreline due to a combination of rain and wind  the waters of Long Island Sound.

An inch-and-a-quarter to an inch-and-a-half of rain was reported between Tuesday night and early Wednesday afternoon, and that combined with a stronger easterly wind pushing water into the Sound.  The WTIC/Fox Connecticut Weather Service received reports of wind gusts as high as 50 or 60 miles an hour in some places.    Winds should be decreasing and rain tapering off through the afternoon.
