Winter Storm Warnings Overnight Into Wednesday: Litchfield, Hartford, Tolland, Windham Counties Read More

EAST HAVEN, Conn. (AP) _ Connecticut authorities say they’ve caught a group of men that performed stunts on four-wheel ATVs in front of police officers to try to incite chases.

East Haven police told the New Haven Register that the men had cameras on their helmets and posted videos online of them doing wheelies and doughnuts around officers. The men did the stunts on Sundays for several weeks in a row, beginning last month.

Authorities arrested three men in recent days after identifying them through their own videos.

Police charged the alleged ATV riders — 27-year-old Michael Esposito and 28-year-old Joseph Arcangelo– with reckless driving and other crimes. Twenty-nine-year-old Mark Mastracchio is accused of following the ATV riders in a car and recording their stunts.
The three men couldn’t be reached for comment.
