Amber Alert Ends With Three Dead

State Police say the  grandmother and children who were the subjects of an  Amber Alert Tuesday evening  were found dead in a  vehicle in Preston about 7  hours after the boys,6 month old Ashton and 2 year old Alton  Perry were  last seen , when their grandmother, 47 year old Debra Denison picked them up at their daycare in North Stonington.

 

State Police in Montville received a call about 9:30  Tuesday night  from someone reporting a suspicious vehicle  was parked near Lake of Isle in Preston,and that there were 3 injured people in the  vehicle, 2 of them children.

 

The three have been  tentatively  identified as  Denison and the  Perry boys.A post mortem examination will  be conducted by the Office of the Chief State Medical Examiner to determine the manner and cause of death.

The State Police investigation is continuing.
