Newtown children and their parents are invited to the Reed Intermediate school gym Sunday to take what they want from some of the many gifts sent to the community following the Sandy Hook shootings. Newtown Social Services case worker Anne Benore says this is the second such giveaway.
Even after the giveaway, there will be at least a half a warehouse of items left. They will be donated to charities picked out by Sandy Hook Elementary School families.
