Guilty Plea In Killingworth Robbery

A Waterbury man has pleaded guilty to a bank robbery in connection with a holdup last summer at the TD Bank in Killingworth.

U.S. Attorney for Connecticut David Fein says 32-year-old Dario Pabey and a co-defendent wore masks into the bank on Route 81,  ordered everyone onto the floor,  and used zip ties to tie the hands of one ban employee. They took money from the bank and money and personal items from customers before forcing a customer out of the bank and making off in the customer’s vehicle,  abandoning it a short distance away,  where a driver picked them up.

Fein says a total of $43, 573 was stolen from the bank and bank customers in the holdup.

Jennifer Jacques had previously pleaded guilty to being the driver in the August 6 robbery .
