Governor Malloy says the automatic federal spending cuts which are due to take effect Friday without action in Washington will mean Connecticut has to furlough 576 National Guard members.
The governor, who is in Washington for the annual meeting of the National Governors Association told CNN’s “State of the Union” that this is– in his words – “absolutely the wrong time to be doing this.”
