West Hartford Man Charged With Recording Wesleyan Students

West Hartford man Michael McKenna, 30, was arrested by Middletown Police earlier this week for video-taping women in the bathroom at Wesleyan University.

McKenna is not a student. A female student apparently was in the third floor bathroom of the library when she saw and heard someone recording with a small digital camera.

McKenna admitted to the crime and officers found 14 separate videos on McKenna’s camera and he also later confessed to having similar videos on his personal computer.

He’s charged with breach of peace, voyeurism and criminal trespass, released on $15,000 bond and is due in court March 4.
