Federal Charges Added In East Windsor Gun Theft

A South Windsor man already facing state charges in the theft of a semi-automatic rifle from an East Windsor gun store now has been charged in a federal complaint in the case.

U-S Attorney for Connecticut David Fein says 26-year-old Jordan Marsh is charged with theft of a firearm from a federally licensed firearms dealer,  and with being a previously convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

Prosecutors  say employees at Riverview Gun Sales did not notice the theft of the Windham Weaponry 5.56 caliber semi-automatic rifle at the time of the December 11 robbery, but it was recovered from Marsh’s hotel room about a week later,  and subsequent review of video surveillance showed the theft.
