Drug Arrest In Glastonbury

The East Central Narcotics Task Force arrested a Glastonbury man at his home Wednesday on drug-related charges.

Police seized over six and a half ounces of marijuana, 326 Hydrocodone Pills, 92 Oxycodone Pills, scales, packaging, $3,156 in cash and other drug paraphernalia at the 42 Spring St. home of Paul Kapij, 40.

He’s charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell, Possession of more than 4 Ounces of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Operating a Drug Factory, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Interfering with a Search Warrant and Risk of Injury. His surety bond was set at $150,000.

Kapij has a history of drug arrests, and there was a juvenile in the home during the search warrant execution. DCF has been notified.
