Connecticut Travel Ban Lifted

The governor’s office this afternoon announced that the state-wide ban on travel on highways is ending at 4 pm.

“I still want to urge residents to stay off the roads if at all possible,” Malloy said in a written statement.

The governor said crews are still working to clear roads, so if people can stay home, it will help the road snow clearing move more quickly.
