The Capital Region Development Authority is scheduled to vote Thursday afternoon, on which organization will manage the XL Center and Rentschler Field.

The current XL Center manager, AEG, has applied for the contract, along with Global Spectrum, and a group connected to the organization that manages the Bushnell.

AEG has a hand in the business operations of the Connecticut Whale, one of the XL Center’s tenants.

The Bushnell group currently operates Rentschler Field, the home of the UConn Football team.
