Grandmother Arrested For Sending Kids Home In Cold

A Middletown grandmother is in trouble, charged with two counts of risk of injury to a minor after kicking two friends sleeping over with her 14-year-old grandson out of her home Sunday at 4:30 a.m. and making them walk home.  Temperatures were in the teens at the time,

Barbara Aiello, 71, says the sleepover got too rowdy and she kicked the out the 10- and 11-year-old boys.

It was reported to police a short while later and they then arrested Aiello. She’s been released, due in court Feb. 11.
