Cromwell police say a 20-year-old shot in the jaw at a Fox Meadows condominium Thursday afternoon around 3:20 p.m. was an accident.

The person shot was visiting and is expected to be OK. Fifty-year-old resident Emzy Barker is charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and unlawful discharge of a firearm.

He’s due in court Feb. 12.
