A New Haven policeman has been placed on administrative duty after a domestic violence complaint filed against him.

Police say the department’s internal affairs office received the complaint against 14-year-veteran Juan Monzon.  He is charged with assault, threatening,  and risk of injury to a minor.  Police say he surrendered his duty weapon and has cooperated with the investigation.
