UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) _ State police say a Colchester woman stole a wallet containing $1,500 from a patron sitting at a gaming table at the Mohegan Sun casino.

Troopers charged 36-year-old Jennifer Marcaurel with fourth-degree larceny early Sunday morning in connection with the alleged pickpocketing theft.

State police say Marcaurel took the wallet while the patron was gambling shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday.

Marcaurel was released on a promise to appear in Norwich Superior Court on Feb. 14.

There is no phone listing for her and it’s not clear if she has a lawyer.
