Boyfriend Charged With Strangulation, Murder In Missing Woman’s Death

East Hampton police say the boyfriend of an East Hampton woman who disappeared last summer has been charged with murder in her death.  30-year-old Jini Barnum,  who had a six-week-old daughter,  was last seen July 29.  Her body was found buried in a shallow grave in Glastonbury in September.

Police now have arrested 38-year-old Anthony Garofalo of East Hampton on charges of murder, strangulation and tampering with physical evidence.  His bond was set at a million dollars.
