Police Make Arrest In Attempted Abduction Of Jogger

Norwich police say they’ve made an arrest in an attempted abduction Friday in Mohegan Park.  A teenager told police she had been jogging when a man exposed himself and tried to abduct her.

Police say they first identified 21-year-old David Rose,  who lives near the park, as a  possible suspect, based on the description,  the proximity of his home to the park, and the crime’s simiarity to previous crimes.  After he was interviewed, police obtained a warrant for his arrest, on charges of unlawful restraint, breach of peace, public indecency and violation of probation.
