Police Arrest Suspect In 2011 Shooting

New Haven police have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a New Haven man more than a year ago.  Twenty-three-year-old Kahson Douglas died of a single gunshot wound in the shooting on Edwards Street October 28, 2011.

Police say their investigation determined that the shooting was the result of an ongoing dispute, and obtained an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Brandon Sessions of New Haven.  He’s charged with  manslaughter in the first degree, criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit.
