UConn Center Stefanie Dolson has been named the Big East Player of the Week.

It’s her  first selection as conference Player of the Week.

Dolson averaged 20.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in UConn’s 2-0 week. She scored a team-best 16 points in the team’s win over Louisville as she went 8-for-11 from the floor and also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
