A Harwinton man faces charges after his arrest in an Avon Home invasion last month. Police say 21-year-old Michael Cyr faces charges of home invasion, robbery and larceny, and conspiracy charges.

Avon police are continuing their investigation of the armed residential robbery at a single-family home at 27 Jackson Road December 18. Residents told police two men in black wearing masks forced their way into the home at gunpoint, ordered everyone to the ground and demanded money, then fled on foot. No one was injured, but one resident suffered an asthma attack.
