The National Weather Service expects Wednesday morning’s storm to dump up to four inches of snow on inland areas. Shoreline areas could see a half inch of snow and sleet by the time the storm starts to end later in the morning.

No delays are being reported on Metro-North trains or at Bradley International Airport.

Schools will be closed in Hartford, New Haven and Waterbury, while Bridgeport schools are opening 90 minutes late.

The state Department of Transportation is reporting slippery conditions across the state. Accidents are reported on Interstate 95 southbound in Fairfield with one lane closed and on Route 75 in Suffield with the entire road closed.
