No injuries when a U.S. Airways flight out of Bradley International Airport bound for Pittsburgh had to make an emergency landing today. The plane, flight #3518, took off around 11:30am and there was a malfunction indication about fifteen minutes into the flight. Initially it was thought there was a fire in the auxiliary power unit however it turned out to be a faulty indicator on board.
The plane with 49 passengers and 3 crew members landed safely, the plane was checked out and was expected to continue its trip to Pittsburgh.
