Missing Boy Found

New Haven police say a missing two-year-old has been found,  though his father,   with whom he had last been seen last Thursday,  remains at large.

Police had issued a “silver alert Tuesday”  for Paul and Paulie Martone,  saying  they were concerned about the child’s safety because of concerns about the father’s mental health.  The alert remains in effect for 37-year-old Paul Martone,  described as 37 years of age, about five-foot-nine and 210 pounds,  with receding brown hair and brown eyes.

They’re not saying how or where the little boy was found, other than to say he was picked up by detectives and taken to the police department where he ate a burger and fries.  The Department of Children and Families will review his case.

Anyone with information about his father is asked to call New Haven Police at (203) 946 6316 or  203 946 6304.
