Suspect Charged In Glastonbury Arson, Burglary

Glastonbury police say they’ve arrested a 22-year-old man on arson, burglary and other charges in a November house fire on Stanley Drive.  Police say the house was a total loss after the blaze,  which was set at the occupied dwelling November.  Four people sleeping inside at the time of the 3 a.m. fire were able to escape without injury.

Police say Ahron Ron of Glastonbury was taken into custody in Manchester with the assistance of the East Central Narcotics Task Force.  He’s held in lieu of $800,000 bond, charged with arson, burglary,  criminal mischief.  making false statements and tampering with physical evidence.

Police say Ron is an acquaintance of the occupants of the home,  and claimed to have been intoxicated and angry at the time of the fire.
